====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE CHANDRA PRAKASH SINGH ORAL ORDER 13-11-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.
2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Parbatta P.S. Case No. 240 of 2024 dated 12.06.2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 201, 304B read with Section 34 of the I.P.C. and Sections 3⁄4 of the D.P. Act.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and the other co-accused persons are alleged to have killed the daughter of the informant due to non-fulfillment of Rs. 10,00,000/- as dowry.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is alleged to

It is further submitted that the petitioner has neither demanded any dowry from the deceased nor tortured the deceased. The petitioner is a Panchayat Teacher in the Primary School, English Lagar within the Gram Panchayat, Lager, District-Khagaria, since 22.02.2014. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. There is no specific allegation against the petitioner. It is further submitted that the marriage took place between the petitioner and the deceased in the year 2017 and since very date, no any complaint was made against the petitioner for any demand of dowry. It is further submitted that the deceased had died naturally. It is further submitted that the petitioner has no concern with the alleged offence. The petitioner has clean antecedent as stated in paragraph no. 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody in this case since 02.07.2024.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial

Case No. 240 of 2024 with further condition:- (I) The petitioner is directed to remain physically present before the learned court below on each and every date, failing which on two consecutive dates without reasonable cause, the bail bonds of the petitioner are liable to be cancelled.
