Petitioner seeks regular bail in Piri Bazar P.S. Case No.75 of 2017 instituted for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 447, 364 of the I.P.C. and Sections 10, 13 and 16 of the U.A.P.A. Act.

Allegation against the petitioner is that he was one of the members of extremist Shankar Yadav who kidnapped Bhuwaneshwar Yadav and his family members to settle the land dispute and subsequently the kidnapped persons were released after land dispute was settled between the parties. It has been submitted by the petitioner that he has no criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 05.09.2017.
