Patna High Court MJC No.973 of 2020(4) dt.04-07-2025 2/3 Bihar State Cooperative Bank Limited, Ashok Rajpath, Patna-4 as opposite party no. 6 to the present petition. MJC No. 973 of 2020 4.
At the outset, the learned counsel for the opposite parties has submitted that the Chapra District Central Cooperative Bank has been under liquidation since the year, 2002 and the District Magistrate, Chapra was earlier appointed as Official Liquidator, however at the moment, the Registrar Cooperative Societies has accorded consent for transfer of assets and liabilities of the Chapra District Central Cooperative Bank to the Bihar State Cooperative Bank, vide letter dated 13.1.2025 and in response thereof, the Managing Director, Bihar State Cooperative Bank, vide letter dated 14.1.2025, has directed the Branch Manager, Chapra Branch, Bihar State Cooperative Bank to take full charge of Chapra District Central Cooperative Bank (under liquidation) and thereafter, Bihar State Cooperative Bank has also taken over the assets and liabilities of Chapra District Central Cooperative Bank (under liquidation). 5.
In view of the aforesaid, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Managing Director, Bihar State Cooperative Bank for redressal of his grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
