The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Karpurigram P.S. Case No. 06 of 2023 registered under Sections 420, 466, 468, 471, 120(b), 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a), 32 (i) (iii), 36 and 41 (i) (ii) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case due to enmity. Further submission is that petitioner has no concern with the seized vehicles from where the alleged recovery has been made. The petitioner has no concern with the seized liquor.

No.27113 of 2023(2) dt.09-05-2023 2/2 Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Special Judge, Excise Court No. 1, Samastipur in connection with Karpurigram P.S. Case No. 06 of 2023, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr. P.C.
