2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest for the offences alleged under Sections 80 and 3(5) of the BNS, 2023, in connection with Sugauli P.S.Case No. 471 of 2024.
3. The petitioners are in-laws of the deceased, who is alleged to have been killed for demand of dowry.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated. They are in-laws having no concern with day-to-day affairs of the couple. As a matter of fact the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19911 of 2025(6) dt.24-12-2025 2/3 deceased committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance. It is submitted further that the husband of the deceased has been granted bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court in Cr.Misc.No. 67278 of 2025. It is also submitted that the FSL report shows that aluminum phosphide (sulfas) was detected from the viscera which shows that she consumed some poisonous substance.
5. The petitioners are in-laws and they are supposed to have no concern with day-to-day affairs of the couple. The FSL report shows that aluminum phosphide, commercially known as sulfas, was detected from the viscera.
6. Considering the above facts and circumstances, let the petitioners above-named, in the event of their arrest or surrender within four weeks from the date of communication of this order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) each, with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate Motihari, East Champaran in connection with Sugauli P.S.Case No. 471 of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the CrPC/482(2) of the BNSS.

7. The petitioners shall remain present physically before the learned court below on each and every date till framing of charges.
