JUSTICE BIBEK CHAUDHURI ORAL ORDER 18-02-2025 On careful perusal of the materials on record and considering the fact that some coparceners sold out a portion of joint family property of which the petitioner is also a coparcener allegedly on the basis of a forged document. However, the petitioner has not filed any forged document along with the instant writ petition. If a person transfers a piece of property without any title, he is liable for civil consequences.

2. Jurisdiction of police in the matter of investigation cannot be misused to coerce some sellers of land.

3. Since this Court finds that the dispute between the petitioner is essentially civil in nature, I do not find any reason
