2. The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioners for following reliefs:- "(i). Quashing of the ex-parte Order bearing Memo No. 539 dated 29.01.2024 by which the Superintendent of Police, Rohtas without any information to the petitioners forthwith has withdrawn/closed the two bodyguards deputed with the petitioner with effect from

(ii). Restraining the respondents from giving effect to the order bearing Memo No. 539 dated 29.01.2024 during the pendency of this writ application and/or without leave of this Hon'ble Court; and.

(iii). Restoring the bodyguards, on payment of the Government Charges, during the pendency of the present writ application."

The counsel for the petitioners submits that they are involved in a construction work and there is serious threat perception on account of demand of ransom and extortion and were constantly receiving threatening. He further submits that earlier vide order dated 03.10.2017 of the State Special Security Committee, Bihar, the petitioners were granted the privilege of security for a period of six months but unfortunately in spite of his repeated representation before the Authorities concerned, it was never extended. He further submits that the order impugned of the Superintendent of Police, Rohtas was drawn in a most cryptic manner for the reasons best known to him.

4. Learned counsel for the State submitted that there is no extension application pending before the Authorities concerned.

5. In view of the aforesaid facts, it is expected that the Authorities concerned will look into the matter sympathetically and will consider a fresh application of the petitioner within a period of six weeks if such an application is made.

6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the present writ petition is disposed of.
