The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Korha P.S. Case No.01 of 2020, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph-3 of the bail application. It is submitted that the petitioner is ready for one time settlement. It is also submitted that the petitioner is also ready to pay Rs.5,00,000/- to O.P. No.2 within a period of eight

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of O.P. No.2 submits that the O.P. No.2 is ready to withdraw the present case after getting Rs.5,00,000/- (rupees five lakhs) from the petitioner.

Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, let petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Katihar in connection with Korha P.S. Case No.01 of 2020, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

It is made clear that the learned court below shall accept the bail bond of the petitioner after verifying the fact that the petitioner has already paid Rs.5,00,000/- (rupees five lakhs) to O.P. No.2.
