The petitioner seeks revision of the order dated 17.07.1998 passed in Cr. Appeal No. 1991 by which the 4th Additional Sessions Judge, Begusarai confirmed the conviction of the petitioner under the provisions of Arms Act and sentenced him to a period of one year and fine of Rs. 100/-.

On going through the facts of the case, I do not find any merit in the application. However, in the interest of justice the sentence is modified to the extent of period already undergone by him.

With the aforesaid modification in sentence, the revision is dismissed.
