16.09.2015 The Petitioner seeks quashing of the order of cognizance dated 15.05.2014 by which the Principal Judge, Family Court, Muzaffarpur has awarded maintenance of Rs. 5,000/- per month to the Opposite Party No. 2 in Maintenance Case No. 175 of 2013.

It has been submitted that the Petitioner is a tailor in the village and, hence, he is not in a position to pay Rs. 5,000/- per month.

Without going into the merits of the claim, a sum of Rs. 5,000/- is reduced to Rs. 1,000/- per month and the Court below is directed to conclude the proceedings positively within a period of four months from the date of receipt of this order. With the aforesaid observations, the application stands disposed off.
