The prayer of the petitioners in the present writ petition is to quash the First Information Report of Naubatpur P. S. Case No. 228 of 2011 dated 11.11.2011 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 144, 504, 385 and 427 of the Indian Penal Code.

Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.24 of 2014 (2) dt.09-01-2015 2 / 2 The allegations made in the FIR do constitute a cognizable offence.
