The petitioners seek regular bail in connection with Ander P.S. Case No. 231 of 2021 lodged under Sections 304(B)/34 of the I.P.C.

As per the F.I.R., the allegation made by the informant's father that for the demand of dowry, informant's husband and his family members abuses and killed his daughter. The allegation is that they have strangulated the neck of the deceased.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20832 of 2022(8) dt.01-12-2022 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that there is a general and omnibus allegation made in the F.I.R. Counsel further submits that petitioners are the father-in-law and motherin-law of the deceased. Counsel further submits that the husband of the deceased has not surrendered till date. Counsel also submits that there is no eye witness of the alleged occurrence. Counsel submits that the petitioners have no concern in any manner whatsoever it may be from the individual affairs with the deceased upon her husband.

Counsel submits that the petitioners are in custody since 12.01.2022 but the postmortem report of the dead body of the deceased categorically mentioned that the death has been caused by strangulation. In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners, therefore, the bail application of the petitioners is hereby rejected.

With this observation, the bail application stands rejected.
