2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30 (a), 32 of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.
3 . It is alleged that 750 ml foreign liquor was recovered from sezied scooty of this petitioner.
4. It is submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case on the basis of suspicion merely because he happens to be owner of seized sccoty . He further submits that without his knowledge and consent, driver of seized vehicle was transporting illicit liquor and petitioner has no concern with the aforesaid recovery . Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent of similar nature .

Considering the quantity of recovery and other circumstances of case , in the event of arrest/surrender within eight weeks from today, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Excise Court Ist Jamui in connection with Khaira Police Station Case No. 362 of 2024 , subject to the conditions laid down under section 482 ( 2 ) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita ( BNSS) , 2023 .
