Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in Jamalpur P.S. Case No. 38 of 2020, registered for the offence punishable under Section 307 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code. Later on section 302 IPC was added.

Earlier the bail application of petitioner was rejected vide order dated 10.11.2020. Vide order dated 07.07.2021, report was called for regarding the stage of trial and same has been received (kept at flag 'P'), which discloses that case is fixed for framing of charge.

Considering the stage of trial and nature of allegation,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.28949 of 2021(3) dt.25-08-2021 2/2 I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above-named on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.

However, as the petitioner is in custody since 03.03.2020, trial court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible.
