The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kalyanpur P.S. Case No.149 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 420, 414, 467, 468 and 471/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

Three persons were arrested with a stolen vehicle, one country made pistol and four live cartridges. 4.

Though the petitioner has been named in the F.I.R. but he was not caught on the spot. One Ravi Kumar Choudhary @ Ravi Kumar, who was caught on the spot, has been granted bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 01.11.2023 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23014 of 2024(2) dt.20-03-2024 2/2 No.69508 of 2023. The petitioner is in custody since 30.10.2023.

Considering the aforesaid facts, this application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Samatipur, in connection with Kalyanpur P.S. Case No.149 of 2023. 7.

This is subject to the condition that petitioner shall mark his attendance in Chakmeshi Police Station, DistrictSamastipur on first and third Sunday of every month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner. (Sandeep Kumar, J) pawan/- U T
