2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 354B/506 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, petitioner entered the house of informant in wee hours of 31.5.2024 and by pressing her mouth tried to molest her. In May, 2020 also, he had tried to commit rape on the informant.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. On the alleged date and time of the occurrence, petitioner was on duty in Kota.

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail. He submits that the petitioner is named in the FIR with specific allegation that he entered the house of informant in wee

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20640 of 2025(2) dt.23-04-2025 2/2 hours of 31.5.2024 and by pressing her mouth tried to molest her. Petitioner has got three criminal antecedent.

6. Considering the nature and gravity of allegation and criminal antecedent of the petitioner, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
