Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 47(A) of Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016. Taking into consideration that 50 litres country made liquor are said to have been recovered from the grocery shop of the petitioner, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail, at least, at this stage and hence, his prayer for bail in connection with Barachatti P.S. Case No. 207 of 2016 pending in the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sherghati, Gaya stands

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.34022 of 2016 (2) dt.20-08-2016 2/2 rejected.

However, petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after four months, if his trial is not concluded within the above stated period.
