JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 25-08-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.(i) To quash the selection of private respondent no 7 as Udipika because petitioner who belongs to Schedule Caste category and the post on which private respondent no 7 who belongs to E.B.C category has been selected, which was earmarked for Scheduled Caste women and petitioner having the requisite qualification applied for the said post accordingly Admit Card was issued to her and she appeared in the written test and she was declared

Patna High Court CWJC No.11619 of 2015(2) dt.25-08-2023 2/2 successful candidate, where after she appeared in counselling on 29.12.2014 and finally she was called for to participate in cycle test, in which also she was declared successful, even though the Respondent no 6 for his personal gain has appointed private respondent no 7 illegally ignoring the better claim of the petitioner.

(ii) To direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner on the post of Udipika (Arer South) forthwith and pay all consequential benefit, because the said post was earmarked as per roaster point for S.C. Category and petitioner having been finally selected for the said post even though, she has not been offered appointment letter by the respondent no 6 who has committed illegality in selection process." At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that probably with the efflux of time, the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous, hence the same be disposed off.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
