The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under sections 366A,370A,372 and 373 of the Indian Penal Code, section 7 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and section 5 of The Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956.
On the basis of confidential information, raid was laid when three girls were recovered from the premises of the petitioner who suggested that the petitioner brought them for performing dance program on payment.
It is submitted by the learned counsel for the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.34314 of 2015 (2) dt.25-08-2015 2/2 petitioner that none of the recovered girls were found to be minor and they have stated in 164 Cr.P.C. statements that they of their own were working in a dance group on payment. The aforesaid facts constitute ground for consideration of the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner by the learned court below in case the petitioner surrenders within six weeks from today in connection with Shikarpur P.S. Case No. 445 of 2014 pending in the court of learned 1st Additional Sessions Judge cum Special Judge, Bettiah, West Champaran.
This application is disposed of with the aforesaid observation/direction.
