Petitioner is an accused in connection with Mahua P.S. Case No. 519 of 2019 registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, who is of clean antecedent, is innocent and has not committed any offence. In fact, nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is rotting in judicial custody since 07.02.2020.
