In this case, the petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Kalyanpur P.S. Case No. 122 of 2017 (G.R. No. 4369 of 2017) registered for offences under sections 341, 323, 354, 307, 379, 504 & 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the Prevention of Witch (Dian) Practices Act. In the present case, an allegation has been that the accused persons have abused the Informant, called her Dian, caught her hair and tried to put night soil in her mouth. Looking to the entire facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.56328 of 2018(6) dt.20-09-2018 2/2 petitioner, above named, is rejected.
