The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.
There is recovery of 20 litres of illicit liquor from a motorcycle which was registered in the name of the petitioner. The petitioner is alleged to have escaped from the place of seizure.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in this case. Nothing has been recovered from

The petitioner has no concern either with the seized illicit liquor or the apprehended accused. The petitioner has handed over the motorcycle for repairing which was misused. A statement has been made in para 3 of the petition that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
Considering the facts aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on bail on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(Ten Thousands) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Excise Judge, Danapur in connection with Maner P.S. Case No. 13 of 2023.
