JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 04-04-2017 The petitioner seeks a direction to the Bihar School Examination Board, Patna (hereinafter referred to as the "Board") to add one (1) mark to the score of her Social Study subject and eight (8) marks in Urdu subject in her result of Annual Secondary Examination, 2013, held by the Board.

2. A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.11991 of 2015 dt.04-04-2017 2/2 Board, wherein, it has been stated that the Bihar School Examination Regulations, 1964 provide for scrutiny of marks obtained by a candidate, which is subject to deposition of required Court fee. It has also been submitted on behalf of the Board that there is nothing to show that the petitioner had applied for scrutiny of marks obtained by her, through the Head of the Institution, as required under the Bihar School Examination Regulation, 1964.

3. Petitioner's case is based on her own assessment of marks, which she ought to have obtained.

4. I do not find any merit in this application. This application is, accordingly, dismissed.
