The sole petitioner, who is in custody since 21.05.2016 in connection with Excise Case No.180 C3/2016 registered for the offence under Section 47(A) of the Excise Act, has prayed for grant of bail.

It was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been detained on an allegation of recovery of 4 liters of toddy.

Keeping in view the nature of accusation and period of custody, let the petitioner, namely, Sonelal Chaudhary be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-( ten
