Patna High Court CWJC No.5485 of 2022(2) dt.29-11-2023 2/2 Begusaral wherein she has secured 61.6 marks in order of merit, whereas the respondent Sunita Devi Wife of Sanjeet Das secured 49.29 marks in order of merit, but Sunita Devi was appointed in place of the petitioner in arbitrary manner by the respondents authority but in order of merit the petitioner is entitled to be appointed to the post."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of the aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
