JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 18-07-2017 This criminal revision application, preferred under Section 397 read with Section 401 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, arises out of a proceeding under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005.

A joint affidavit has been filed on behalf of the petitioners and opposite party No. 2 that the parties have

Under the said settlement, the petitioner No. 1 has agreed to pay to opposite party No. 2 a sum of Rs. 30,00,000/- by way of permanent settlement. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners and opposite party No. 2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing on behalf of the State of Bihar, is also present. In terms of the said compromise/permanent settlement, this application stands disposed of. Needless to say that no order passed by the Court in the proceeding, under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, shall be given effect to since it is admitted that both the parties have entered into compromise.
