JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 30-06-2022 Though the present writ petition has been filed for quashing the order dated 21.08.2020, passed by the Passport Officer, Regional Passport Office, Patna but in view of the provisions contained in Section 11 of the Passports Act, 1967, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to file appropriate appeal as also seeks a direction upon the appellate authority to consider the judgments rendered by this Court as also the Hon'ble Apex Court, which shall be annexed with the Appeal.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off with liberty to the petitioner to file appropriate appeal before the appellate authority against the order dated 21.08.2020 and in

Patna High Court CWJC No.9475 of 2021(4) dt.30-06-2022 2/2 case, such an appeal is filed within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be decided expeditiously, preferably within a period of eight weeks, thereafter.
