The grievance of the petitioner is that confiscation proceeding was started against him long time back but no notice was issued. The vehicle is in the custody of the forest officials for the last two years.

The petitioner is at liberty to file a release application of the vehicle before the Divisional Forest Officer, who shall dispose off the same within 10 days. Any delay in disposal thereof would attract punitive action. The respondent no. 1 shall initiate such action and send a report to this Court.
