The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Mahnar P.S. Case No. 259/2014, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307 and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is alleged to have assaulted the informant with iron rod on his head causing serious injuries. The informant fell down. Thereafter, the petitioner and his brother are alleged to have indiscriminately assaulted the informant. It is submitted that there is a counter version. Jaswant Singh has already been enlarged on anticipatory bail by the learned Sessions Judge, but from perusal of the record, it appears that there is specific allegation against the petitioner that he assaulted the informant causing injury on his head and other parts
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.34264 of 2015 (3) dt.30-10-2015 2/2 of the body and the injuries found are grievous in nature, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
