2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for offence under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 303(2), 308(5), 329(4), 352, 351(2) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
3. The informant alleged that her uncle Sanjay Yadav (petitioner) forcibly encroached her land and constructed shops and hotel on the said land and when she objected, this petitioner abused, assaulted and snatched her gold chain and also demanded Rs. Five lakhs, as extortion money.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the land in question was purchased by petitioner's mother from the original land owner on 05.02.1996 and since then, land in question is in his possession, but the informant is claiming possession of said land on false ground. Proceeding under
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18162 of 2025(2) dt.10-04-2025 2/2 Section 144 Cr.P.C. for the said piece of land is also pending between the parties since 2021. Petitioner has also filed an informatory petition against the informant and others.

However, learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits that there is specific allegation against this petitioner that he forcibly acquired the land of the informant and also demanded Rs. Five lakhs from informant in lieu of release of such land. Besides this, petitioner has got criminal antecedent and he is accused in five more cases.
6. Considering the nature of accusation and criminal antecedent, the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioner is rejected.
