Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has already made the representation (Annexure-P/20) to the Collector-Cum-District Magistrate, Begusarai i.e., the respondent No. 5 herein and the direction may be given to the respondent No. 5 to consider the representation made by the petitioner and make necessary payments.

3. Having regard to the above made submission, the

Patna High Court CWJC No.5447 of 2022(15) dt.03-12-2024 2/2 present writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No. 5 to consider the representation made by the petitioner as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In case the authority comes to the conclusion that the claim made by the petitioner is genuine, he shall endeavor to make necessary payments. However, in case the claim of the petitioner is to be rejected, the authority shall give reasons for rejecting the same.

4. With the above direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
