This application is for grant of anticipatory bail in connection with Jadopur P.S. Case No. 67 of 2016 for the offence under Sections 272, 273 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code and 47(A) and 47(G) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner and only based on confessional statement of the co-accused the petitioners' names surfaced in this case and he has nothing to do with the alleged recovery.

Having heard both sides, in view of the fact that huge
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.4831 of 2017 (2) dt.14-02-2017 2/2 quantity of liquor has been recovered from the possession of the petitioners', I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners, it is accordingly rejected.
However, the petitioners are directed to surrender before the court below and make prayer for regular bail, which will be considered on its own merit without prejudice by order of this Court.
