That this writ application is directed for issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari or any other writ / writs direction quashing the order dated 24.04.2015 passed by Respondent No. 2, Principal Secretary, Science and Technology, Government of Bihar issued vide Memo No. 992 dated 29.04.2015 contained in Annexure 9 whereby and whereunder he has illegally rejected the claim of the Petitioner for

Patna High Court CWJC No.11147 of 2015(2) dt.24-08-2023 2/2 extension of his service on the post of Lecturer Department of Humanity in Government Polytechnic College, Saharsa.

This writ petition is further directed for issuance of a direction commanding and directing the Respondents authorities concerned not to act in a discriminatory manner with the Petitioner directing them to extend the service of Petitioner with effect from 16.03.2012 on the post of Lecturer Department of Humanity with all consequential benefit to which he is found entitled under law."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
