This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Belaganj P.S.Case No. 308 of 2018 (G.R.No.7011 of 2018), disclosing offences under Sections 341, 323, 354, 379, 427, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioners and the informant are the agnates. It is evident from the FIR that it was basically scuffle which had taken place between them, resulting in registration of the FIR. There is allegation of assault and snatching of certain articles. There is allegation against the petitioner Mahesh Kewat of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.21448 of 2019(2) dt.05-04-2019 2/2 having attempted to outrage the modesty of the daughter-in-law of the informant.

Be that as it may, considering the nature of allegation, this application is allowed. Let the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest/surrender within six weeks from today in the court below, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each, with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-XIth, Gaya in Belaganj P.S. Case No. 308 of 2018 (G.R.No.7011 of 2018), subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. This is subject to the condition that the petitioners shall present themselves before the Police/Court, as the case may be, as and when required and in the event of failure on their part to appear before the court on two consecutive occasions, their bail bonds shall be liable to be cancelled.
