14-07-2016 Heard Sri Mukesh Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Kumar Virendra Narayan, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor.

The sole petitioner, who is in custody in Patori P.S. Case No. 31 of 2016 since January, 2016 registered under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-b)a, 26 & 35 of the Arms Act, 1959, has prayed for grant of bail. It was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that in the year 2012, the petitioner was arrested in one case and thereafter, he was remanded in number of cases. It was further submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that in the present case, recovery of loaded country-made pistol was shown from the possession of the petitioner.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.26929 of 2016 (2) dt.14-07-2016 2/2 The petitioner's criminal antecedent has been mentioned in paragraph - 3 of the petition, which reflects that he is accused in altogether 15 cases besides the present case. Keeping in view the antecedent of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail.

The prayer for bail stands rejected.

Since the petitioner is in custody, the court below is required to take all steps for early disposal of the case. (Rakesh Kumar, J.) Anay U T
