The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Kotwali (Jogsar) P.S. Case No. 23 of 2019 for the offences punishable under Sections 370, 370A, 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4/5/6/7 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956.

The allegation is regarding the accused persons including the petitioner having engaged in business of prostitution and upon a raid having been conducted by the police, several names and phone numbers were recovered. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been roped in the present case merely on

No.18161 of 2019(2) dt.02-04-2019 2/2 suspicion and in fact, the petitioner was a maid servant in the house, however, the police has neither apprehended any customer nor any girl from the house, hence the complicity of the petitioner has not been made out. The petitioner is stated to be languishing in custody since 11.01.2019.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on regular bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhagalpur in connection with Kotwali (Jogsar) P.S. Case No. 23 of 2019.
