The instant application for regular bail has been filed by the petitioner in connection with Barhara (Raghubansh Nagar) P.S. Case No. 329 of 2021 instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 302, 307, 120(B) of Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of Arms Act. Earlier the application for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by order dated 06.09.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 68267 of 2022 with an observation to learned trial court to conclude the trial expeditiously. In pursuance to the direction of this Court, a
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.21734 of 2024(3) dt.26-04-2024 2/2 report, dated 20.03.2024, with regard to present stage of trial has been received and the same is kept at flag 'A'. From its perusal it appears that the record of accused has been committed to the Court of Sessions No fresh ground is made for reconsideration of the regular bail of the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for grant of regular bail is rejected.
Accordingly, petition stands disposed off.
However, learned trial court is directed to hear the case on day to day basis and conclude the trial within six months., failing which, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer of bail.
