JUSTICE RAKESH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 22-08-2016 Heard Sri Dewendra Narayan Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Surendra Prasad Singh, learned A.P.P. The sole petitioner who is in custody since 9.5.2016 in Chapra Muffasil P.S. Case No. 179 of 2016 registered for the offence under section 272, 273, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and 47 of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act 2016 has prayed for grant of bail.

It was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner has been made accused on an allegation of recovery about nine liters country liquor from a hutment which actually was not of the petitioner. He submits that petitioner has been detained and he is in custody.

Keeping in view the nature of acquisition and period

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.34778 of 2016 (2) dt.22-08-2016 2/2 of custody let the petitioner Anil Kumar Manjhi be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand ) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra / concerned court in connection with Chapra Muffasil P.S.
