The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1.a. For issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus to direct the respondent no.4 to accept the height of the petitioner as 156 centimeter duly authenticated by the Civil Surgeon, Gopalganj and consequent upon acceptance of her height, declare her successful in the final examination of Constable Recruitment-2014 held for the post of Constable in Bihar Police."

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that probably with the efflux of time, the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous, hence the same be disposed off.
