The petitioners are languishing in custody since 23.03.2016 in connection with Alamganj P.S. Case No. 93 of 2016 registered for offence under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The prosecution story, in brief, is that the daughter of the
informant was married to Ujjwal Kumar on 1.5.2015 about one month after when she returned to her maternal home, her husband and the in-laws were not ready to take Dipshikha back to her matrimonial home and demanded a gold chain and bangle for taking Dipshikha back to her matrimonial home they also abused and threatened her daughter. Finally she filed a written complaint at the women Thana at Gandhi Maidan. After a while the husband and in- laws took the informant's daughter to their home. Later she was beaten up at her matrimonial home. On 18.03.2016 when the informant went to his daughter's matrimonial home he was threatened by them that if he doesn't' pay money for purchasing, he will see his daughter's dead body.
He stated that he is sure that his son in law and his parents tortured his daughter to such an extent that she had to commit suicide. He was informed about his daughter's death on the phone by the neighbours. On behalf of the petitioners, it is submitted that the petitioners are in custody since 23.03.2016. Charge-sheet has been submitted in the present case. Petitioner Anand Kumar, is the father-in-law and petitioner Arti Devi, is the mother-in-law of the deceased. They are separate in mess and property from the husband of the deceased.

On behalf of the State and the counsel for the informant it has been submitted that the petitioners are named in the FIR and they have actively participated in the alleged occurrence. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioners above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned First Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna City, Patna, in connection with Alamganj P.S. Case No. 93 of 2016.
