Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsels appearing for the State as well as the Accountant General, Bihar, Patna.

Petitioner voluntarily retired from the post of Medical Officer, Primary Health Center, Bind, Nalanda, on 20.07.2017. Petitioner, in the present writ application, has claimed payment of his post retiral benefits as also interest on GPF as amount of Rs.13,71,792/- has been paid to the petitioner and the interest calculation has also not been done properly for delayed payment. Petitioner submits that certain papers and documents were called for by the respondent no. 4, the Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Medical Officer, Nalanda, as contained in Annexure 4, vide letter no. 38, dated

Patna High Court CWJC No.5797 of 2019(3) dt.04-04-2019 2/2 11.03.2018, in pursuance to which the petitioner had submitted the required documents to the respondent no. 4, vide letter, dated 26.03.2018, as contained in Annexure 5, but, even after submission of all papers the petitioner has, again, been asked to produce the said papers and documents.

Considering the nature of claim, made by the petitioner, let the petitioner file a detailed representation before the respondent no. 4, Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Medical Officer, Nalanda, making specific claim under each head, which will be disposed of by respondent no. 4 within a period of three months from the date of filing of such representation. The period would be utilized for any correspondence and any papers or documents to be provided by the petitioner. Any amount due to the petitioner along with admissible interest will be paid within one month thereafter. If certain amounts are inadmissible, the same shall be communicated to the petitioner through registered post. The writ application is disposed of, accordingly. (Nilu Agrawal, J) Shamshad/- U
