The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Sabour P.S. Case No. 272 of 2014 registered for the offences punishable under Section 307 and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code. The prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide order dated 01.07.2015 in Cr. Misc. No. 16011 of 2015, but the petitioner has filed this petition again for grant of anticipatory bail on the ground that the case has already been compromised.

Be that as it may, since there is allegation that it was the petitioner who assaulted the petitioner with iron rod on his head causing grievous injury, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.2987 of 2017 (2) dt.22-02-2017 2/2 rejected.

The petitioner, if so advised, may surrender before the court below within four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order and pray for regular bail, his prayer shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced by the order of this Court if possible on the same day.
