In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Tajpur P.S. Case No.96 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 272, 273/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a) and 38(i) (ii) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The police on secret information raided the house of the petitioner and recovered huge quantity of illegal liquor. Looking to the quantity of liquor recovered, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected.
