1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this an application for issuance of the writ in the nature of mandamus or any other writ/writ / direction/ Directions to the respondent Authority for grant/transfer of license for SBBL Gun no.1832 in the name of petitioner on basis of heir of deceased licensee holder where by where under father of the petitioner was licensee holder who died leaving behind the petitioner there upon the petitioner filed application before D.M Ara along with

Patna High Court CWJC No.4584 of 2023(2) dt.09-10-2023 2/2 entire relevant documents but no decision has been taken as yet."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to file a fresh application in accordance with the provisions, contained in the new Arms Rules, 2016, however, seeks a direction upon the District Magistrate/District Arms Magistrate, Bhojpur at Ara to consider the same and dispose it off, expeditiously. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. It is needless to state that in case appropriate application is filed by the petitioner, as aforesaid, the same shall be considered, in accordance with law and a reasoned and a speaking order shall be passed thereon, forthwith.

4. The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
