The petitioner is accused in connection with Dumra P.S. Case No. 144 of 2019 registered under section 304(B)/34 of the I.P.C. pending in the Court of C.J.M., Sitamarhi.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Further submission is that petitioner is in custody since 27.11.2019.

Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State opposed the prayer of the petitioner by contending that petitioner is the husband of the deceased. There is specific allegation of demand of dowry, cruelty and harassment against

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.17430 of 2020(9) dt.01-03-2021 2/2 the petitioner. Hence, this is not a fit case for bail. Having considered the above facts and circumstances of the case and nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to allow the prayer of the petitioner for bail. Accordingly, prayer for grant of regular bail of the petitioner is rejected.
