2. The present modification petition has been filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking modification of the order dated 04.11.2022 passed by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 44813 of 2022 and further prayed for extension of time by a period of four (04) weeks for surrender and furnishing of bail bond.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner could not surrender within the time stipulated in the earlier order and, therefore, prays for grant of further time for the said purpose. It is further submitted that the petitioner is

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25842 of 2026(2) dt.21-07-2026 2/2 ready and willing to deposit a sum of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty-Five Thousand only) with a charitable organization, without prejudice to his case.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, the present modification application is allowed.

5. Accordingly, the petitioner is granted further time of four (04) weeks from today to surrender before the court concerned and furnish bail bond in terms of the order dated 04.11.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 44813 of 2022, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty-Five Thousand only) with Ramakrishna Math, Bhatta Bazar, Purnea, Bihar and shall produce the valid receipt thereof before the court below at the time of surrender.

6. It is clarified that the bail bonds of the petitioner shall be accepted only after due verification of the genuineness and validity of the said receipt by the court concerned.

7. The order dated 04.11.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 44813 of 2022 stands modified to the aforesaid extent. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Shishir/- U T
