JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 19-12-2022 The limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present writ petition is to direct the District Magistrate, Gaya to dispose off the case of the petitioner for grant of Arms licence, which has not yet been disposed off, despite order passed by the Permanent Lok Adalat dated 13.07.2019. It is submitted that the learned Commissioner, Magadh Division, Gaya, by an order dated 05.07.2017, had remanded the aforesaid case, back to the District Magistrate, Gaya and since then the same is pending. Having regard to the limited prayer made by the petitioner, I deem it fit and appropriate to dispose off the present writ petition with a direction to the District Magistrate, Gaya to

Patna High Court CWJC No.5523 of 2022(2) dt.19-12-2022 2/2 dispose off the case of the petitioner, pertaining to grant of Arms licence, in case, the same has not already been disposed off, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.
