JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 29-09-2016 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner being husband of the daughter of the informant is languishing in custody since 7.10.2015 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 304B and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The accusation is of killing the daughter of the informant after four years of marriage for non fulfillment of dowry demands.
The report of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge VI, West Champaran, Bettiah reflects that out of eight charge sheet witnesses, five have been examined and only doctor, I.O and one private witness are yet to be examined.

No.31305 of 2016 (4) dt.29-09-2016 2/2 It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the witnesses examined so far have not supported the prosecution case and have been declared hostile. Considering the present stage of trial and report of the learned trial court that the trial will be concluded within six months, this court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner in connection with Bettiah Mufassil P.S. Case No. 264 of 2015 pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge VI, Bettiah, West Champaran.
This application is, accordingly, dismissed. However, it is expected from the learned trial court to conclude the trial expeditiously.
