For the Petitioner/s :

Mr. Umesh Chandra Verma For the Opposite Party/s :

Mr. A.G ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SUNIL KUMAR PANWAR ORAL ORDER 22-03-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, informant and learned A.P.P for the State.

The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 3143, 341, 323, 324, 447, 307, 354, 379, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is a case of assault to the informant by the accused persons including the petitioner.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that prior to lodging of the present case the petitioner has lodged Bettiah Muffasil (Manuapul) P.S. Case No. 708 of 2020 against the informant and others. Hence, in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.29966 of 2021(3) dt.22-03-2022 2/2 order to put pressure, the present false case has been registered against the petitioner. There is a land dispute also. From perusal of the fardbeyan of injured, it appears that the informant has specifically alleged against this petitioner that he assaulted with Iron Dabia to the informant. The injury report also supports the version of the informant as the injury has been found to be grievous in nature and sustained on vital part of the body. In the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner stands rejected.
