Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 47(A), 50, 57 of Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

18 Jerkins each containing 35 litres toddy are said to have been recovered from a vehicle which was being driven by the petitioner, who is languishing in jail custody since 12.05.2016 without having any criminal antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of
